Hokus Packus

Summary:

The game is still in development. The build below is a very early prototype build. Hope you like it.

Story:

You're a family of wizards preparing to have your long-awaited holiday. On the day of the flight, your kids discover an unpacking spell and unpack everything inside of the suitcases. Everything is spread out throughout the house and you have only 1 hour left to pack before the flight takes off.

Goal

Pack all items in the level with the packing spell (spell 1) and wish away all suitcases with the wish away spell. You lose if you don't do it before the timer reaches 0.

Controls

• Use the mouse to navigate the main menu
• Arrow Keys to move around.
• Spacebar to open the spell menu
• To exit the selected spell, hold down the spacebar for 2 seconds to return to the spell menu.

Know issues

• In the final game, the teleportation spell is only supposed to be castable once per level... So don't teleport around everywhere like you where the police from cyberpunk 2077.
• The Wish away spell has a range of 3, but this is not shown anywhere. So if you press it and nothing happens, that is probably the cause of nothing happening.
• The game takes around 1 second before everything in the background is assigned correctly. This means that the game can receive inputs and tick down the remaining turns without the player moving at the start.
• The camera is a bit odd in certain levels.
• You can move around after the game is over
• Default Unity UI and colors in a lot of places...
